Cabo Verde

Cape Verde has a population of around half a million inhabitants. Its capital is Praia. The official language of Cape Verde is Portuguese, but Cape Verdeans normally speak in Creole (“Kriolu”), which is the mother tongue, used daily in interpersonal relationships. More information.

MigraSafe Africa is a project to support regular, orderly and safe migration from this country, among others. MigraSafe includes:

• Seminars on legal migration routes to the European Union.

These seminars are aimed at staff from embassies and consulates, local authorities and civil society organizations.

• Missions

These actions are aimed only at local authorities and civil society organisations and will be designed ad hoc based on the preferences of these groups, with the aim of improving dialogue on migration and migration practices.
