Kick-off meeting

On 18 May 2022, FIIAPP and the Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration organised the MigraSafe Africa launch event in Brussels. Representatives of the migration offices of Portugal, Switzerland and Sweden, representatives of DG HOME (Legal Pathways Unit) and the Permanent Representations in Brussels of Portugal, Switzerland and Spain participated.

Following the presentation of the project and the MigraSafe Africa team, the project’s activities and operational requirements were discussed. The attendees showed interest in the role the experts will play in the training sessions, seminars and workshops that will be held in the 8 African countries, with the aim of promoting greater knowledge about legal migration to the EU. All these tasks will be supported by the experience and knowledge of experts from the partner countries and DG HOME.
